The Alberta Chicken Producers Poultry Technology Centre (ACPPTC) is a world class centre with teaching, meeting room and poultry processing facilities. The Centre was opened in 1999 and can be accessed for teaching, extensions/technology transfer and research activities.
Features of the Centre include:
The Lilydale classroom accommodates 80-100 people and can be divided into two separate rooms.
A fully functional kitchen with utensils, with place settings for up to 60 people are available.
The Alberta Turkey Producers Computer Laboratory and the Henry Van Zeggelaar Processing Laboratory (a provincially inspected poultry slaughter and processing facility).
The Alberta Producers Computer Laboratory has six computers with a direct link to the internet and six internet hook-ups that can be accessed for teaching and extension purposes. In addition to computers, the Laboratory is equipped with laser printing.
